Compatible avec Active Directory, le LaCie Ethernet Disk accepte 100 utilisateurs au total, avec des droits d'accès aux différents partages individualisables, et jusqu'à 25 utilisateurs simultanés. Le LaCie Ethernet Disk a été spécialement étudié pour protéger les données des postes de travail Windows, Mac, Linux et Unix.
